This is for you rather than your students. I give you some necessary truths and some validating light bulb moments with some of my favourite mindset shifting mantra. Ideal if you have ever felt overwhelmed, burnt out, defeated or invisible. Even if you haven’t, you will love this session as there will be so many things that resonate.
This module is a must if you want your students to learn more language, faster. Learn some super simple ways to implement this highly practical low-to-no prep approach. This will cause a ‘lexical shift’ in the way you see and teach language. It will transform your lessons and your approach to teaching.
Bring grammar into the real world. Why can learners not produce language even though you have taught the grammar? Because it needs to be taught in a different way. Don't worry though: the changes you make are not too difficult or overwhelming, I promise. Again, it’s more of a shift in the way you see language and the kinds of examples you should be giving. Also, learn about receptive grammar. It’s not just about getting students to speak.
Is it only the syllabus we should be teaching? Absolutely not! You will learn why mindfulness is not only essential in class but it can be highly enjoyable too! Learn how to implement mindfulness in class, enabling more self-expression, trust, community and confidence to flourish.
When trust is built, learning can happen. Learn some easy to-low-to-no prep ways of getting students to share and also to give them a voice in class. Do not underestimate the power of sharing and positivity!
Why should you do all the work? Learn how students can generate class materials as we come full-circle to another aspect of the lexical approach: emergent language. There will also be a few little extra tips on how your students can decrease your workload.
90 minutes per week plus putting what you’ve learnt into practice IMMEDIATELY.
Use your bonus workbook to remain accountable and plan how you will implement each new concept into your next lesson
